How to hit high notes with your software

Filed under: Marketing & Strategy — Chris Peters, August 3, 2005

The best working conditions draw the best programmers, which leads to the best software, which leads to profit.Joel Spolsky takes a very Seth Godin-style approach in explaining the difference between an average programmer and the best programmers. It lines up so much with what Seth Godin preaches that I almost 100% suspect that Spolsky has read The Purple Cow and Free Prize Inside.

Although this article starts rambling halfway through, it is overall an interesting read. He must be doing something right because I am remarking on his article.
