New ColdFusion podcast

Learn about ColdFusion on your iPodBryan Kaiser and Michael Haynie have started a wonderful podcast dedicated to ColdFusion news, features, tips, and tricks. I checked out their first episode this morning and was very impressed.

I subscribed to the podcast in iTunes by searching for “coldfusion” in the iTunes Music Store. Pretty simple from there. There is more information about the podcast and subscribing to it at coldfusionpodcast.com.

Podcasting is a method of subscribing to audio files that are related to a given subject. You then listen to the audio either on your computer or portable music player (the latter being the most popular way). The advantage to podcasts is that you can listen to the shows on your own schedule.

Most podcasts are set up like radio shows. I’ve only tried a couple of them, but so far I really like the ColdFusion and Podtech.net podcasts. They are a good way to spend your morning commute learning something new and keeping up with trends on a given subject.
