How I decide when to take breaks
To make sure I take breaks, I always work with my laptop running on battery power. When the battery charge reaches about 10%, I plug it back in and take a break until it’s fully charged.
This may not work so well at your regular job, but I think it’s great for side projects at home when you’re burned out as it is.
If you’re a workaholic like me, you’re probably taking on all kinds of side projects in addition to your 8-5. My loved ones have accepted my iBook as a member of the family because it’s always around. But even I need to take a break here and there!
